FCS PREMIER

Boys and Girls U11 to U19

About Our Most Competitive Division

FCS Premier is for those U11 to U19 players who are seeking the next level in skill development. Players experience more rigorous training and more competitive league and tournament play.  Players are selected at tryouts based on skill level, growth potential, commitment, and physical and mental readiness for more rigorous training.

FCS Premier teams will play in competitive regional and state leagues.  All coaches are specially chosen for their ability to train more advanced players.  They are assisted by our staff of professional trainers.

Premier teams train 3 nights a week in the fall and spring. Winter training begins in early November and may include indoor futsal and outdoor training on turf fields.  See information on the yearly schedule below.

The Premier Division training is under the direction of Anthony Doherty, Sr. Director of Coaching.

Players interested in joining FCS Premier are invited to visit the tryouts page to register for tryouts which are held the week of May 13.

// Our Seasons  //

Premier is a year-round competitive soccer program.  Teams are formed in late May through an open tryout process that all prospective players, including current Storm players, attend.  All of our teams follow the same basic schedule during the fall and spring season.

Late May
Tryouts occur in late May. All interested players are required to attend.

June and July
No formal training. Teams often hold pick-up games either as a team or as part of an age group.

August through October
Fall training begins in early August when all teams participate in a Pre-Season training camp.

League play runs from the end of August until the end of October. FCS Premier teams typically play in either the Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League or the Ohio Soccer State League.

Premier teams participate in  3 tournaments in the fall. Older age teams generally travel to an out of town tournament.

November and December
remier teams continue to practice until early December.

January and February
All teams participate in Club organized winter training in January and February.  FCS Premier teams participate in an in-house Futsal program as well as strenth and ability training.

March to May
Coach led practices begin in early March using a combination of indoor fields and outdoor fields.  All teams move to outdoor fields by the end of March.  League play runs from early April until mid-May.  Premier teams participate in one of the OSA Cup Series tournaments in addition to two regular tournaments.
